PDF.js (Mozilla) - **File:** `vendor/pdf.min.js`, `vendor/pdf.worker.min.js` - **Version bundled:** 3.x (legacy UMD build) - **Source:** - **License:** Apache License 2.0 - **NOTICE:** Copyright Mozilla Foundation. PDF.js includes code from several external libraries, see for the full license text and for the contributor list. PDF.js is used for in-browser text extraction from patient-uploaded PDF documents. All processing happens locally; PDF content is never sent to a server. ## 2. qrcode-generator (Kazuhiko Arase) - **File:** `vendor/qr.js` - **Source:** - **License:** MIT - **NOTICE:** Copyright (c) 2009 Kazuhiko Arase. The word "QR Code" is a registered trademark of DENSO WAVE INCORPORATED. The QR encoder is used to render a scannable plain-text emergency summary on the Emergency Card. The data encoded is the user's own profile information from their local vault. No network call. ## 3. Freely usable and redistributable. - **Attribution:** Data shown in the app credits "NPPES NPI Registry (cms.hhs.gov)" with a clickable link to the source. The bundled snapshot is regional (Texas, Collin County + DFW metroplex) and dated; it is not a live mirror. Users should consult the NPPES site directly for authoritative current data. ## 6. Defense and Veterans Pain Rating Scale (DVPRS) - **Use:** the Symptoms module's 0–10 severity scale is **adapted from** DVPRS, developed by the US Department of Defense and Department of Veterans Affairs. - **Status:** US federal government work. Not subject to copyright in the United States (17 U.S.C. § 105). Adapted plain-language anchors are the operator's own paraphrase. - **Attribution:** the in-app help text describes the scale as "an adapted Defense & Veterans Pain Rating Scale." ## 7. Bundled reference data compiled by Honeycutt AI Labs The following data files are the operator's own compilation from publicly available, well-documented references (drug labels, federal regulations, state agency websites, standard adult lab reference ranges, plain-English medical education sources).
